Frequently Asked Questions

  • Please bring the following items to ensure you’re ready to participate:

    • Basketball sneakers (required)

    • Comfortable athletic clothing

    • Any required medication (inhaler, EpiPen, etc.)

    • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

    Please note: Players should wear clothing appropriate for physical activity.

  • Grow the Game players will participate in activities focused on:

    • Ball handling

    • Passing

    • Shooting

    • Footwork

    • Defensive fundamentals

    • Small-sided games and competitions

    • Teamwork and communication

    Players will be grouped by age and/or skill level whenever possible.

  • We ask every player to:

    • Arrive on time and ready to participate.

    • Listen and follow instructions from coaches and volunteers.

    • Give their best effort in every activity.

    • Treat teammates, coaches, and staff with respect.

    • Encourage others and display good sportsmanship.

    • Take care of the facility and equipment.

  • Parents and guardians are asked to:

    • Complete all registration forms before participation.

    • Inform staff of any medical conditions or accommodations.

    • Ensure players arrive early for warm-ups.

  • For the safety of all participants:

    • Players who are feeling ill should stay home.

    • Players should bring any necessary medications.

    • Certified staff or volunteers will be available to assist with basic first aid.

    • Emergency contact information must be provided during registration.

    • Outdoor clinic: In the event of severe weather, participants will be notified of any schedule changes or cancellations by email and/or text.

    • Indoor clinic: The clinic will take place as scheduled unless otherwise communicated.

    • Check-in opens 30 minutes before clinics begins.

    • Please arrive early to allow time for registration verification.

    • Late arrivals may miss important announcements and warm-ups.

    • Photography Notice: Photos and videos may be taken during the events for future promotional use. If you do not wish for your child to be photographed, please indicate this during registration.

    • Lost & Found: Grow the Game is not responsible for lost or unattended personal belongings.

    • Cancellation Policy: If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to another player.
